SMEGTIPS.BIN The Compiled Program
TIP.DAT List Of Tips
Installation Instructions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) You should have already ran SINSTALL.BIN which created all directories
needed, and placed all files in their proper locations.
SINSTALL.BIN takes care of anything that's mildly confusing, so if you
didn't install via SMINSTALL.BIN, go back and do it.
2) SmegTips is meant to ran just before a menu prompt is displayed. You
can accomplish this by either editing your menu or shell.
Editing Shell
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just before the prompt is displayed, add:
exec_bin smegtips
Editing Menu
~~~~~~~~~~~~
At the end of your menu.asc file, add:
@EXEC:SMEGTIPS@
Adding Tips
~~~~~~~~~~~
You may add Tips by editing TIP.DAT with your favorite text editor.
Remember that you can only have one tip per line. The Tip text colour
defaults to low intensity green, but the colour can be overridden with
ctrl-a codes. There's examples of overriding the colour in the TIP.DAT
